Immune System Boosting Smoothie!

I hope that this smoothie is benificial to many of you! Be adventurous and try this n ew and different smoothie! the article shows you that when colds are going around, or you are in a cold environment, like the winter, smoothies actually are a great way to stay healthy. I am not saying that all smoothies are healthy, but this smoothie in particular gives your immune system that extra boost for the day, and can help your immune system. Even though it is not winter, and the end of spring, it is still that time of year where everyone is catching that cold. Mix these ingredients into your blender and I am sure you will have a healthy boost to your day. This smoothie may be a little bit out there for some people, but it is sure a good way to keep your body in a healthy condition. If your feeling a little under the weather, I highly suggest you try this. It cools you off, and brings you back up! Check out this website and be sure to have fun drinking down this healthy blend!

Here are the steps for making this Immune System Boosting Smoothie!

2 table spoons of linseeds or hulled hempseeds, or a mixture of both, soaked overnight.
Handful of goji berries, soaked for 5 minutes
1 banana
4 strawberries
some bee pollen
Teaspoon of agave nectar
3 large spinach leaves
Enough water to make it your desired consistency.

“How To Make Your Own Smoothie” step by step!

Today I decided to change it up a little bit. I haven’t received any complaints yet. Which I am thankful for, but I want to reach out to those who may feel uncomfortable making there own smoothie. Smoothie making is actually so much more easy than you think, and I really want you to enjoy the process as much as I do! That is why I decided to post this today.

Maybe you want someone to guide you and be there for you in order to catch any little mistake. Maybe you just want someone talking you through the whole smoothie making process! I have been posting a lot of information about smoothie recipes. This post is going to be different because I am sure some of you, do not know how to make a smoothie, and for those people I decided to post this video. It shows you how to make a smoothie step by step and also offers some very useful tips and suggestions. I find it useful because this time, you are sure to have a smoothie come out with the right texture, and consistency. You can play this video, try it and even pause it when you need to verify anything! I hope you find it useful. The voice in the background can be helpful, but it is not completely necessary. A New Kind Of Smoothie!

This website not only has smoothies, but it also has juices! I know that if you are reading my blog regularly, you are most likely a smoothie lover. The smoothie is called Madras Banana Smoothie, and it sounded very tasty. I enjoyed it, and I hope you do too. Summer is just around the corner, so make sure you get all of these smoothies blended before that next heat wave kicks in. Smoothies are always so yummy and refreshing. I think they are great because they consist of healthy ingredients which can be downed in one sitting. Its like a glass of all your favorite fruits mixed into one amazing great taste!

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup cranberry/raspberry juice
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Pour ingredients into blender, blend until smooth, Enjoy!

Simple Summer Smoothie Review

Simple Summer SmoothieToday, I chose a smoothie to review! This past weekend in California it has been hot, hot, hot! The smoothie is always the perfect solution. Today I chose a simple but delicious smoothie. I found it at this website: I decided to try it out. The making is easy and the smoothie is yummy. The ingredients are most likely already in your fridge! That gives you no reason to go out and buy a whole bunch of new ingredients. This smoothie is wonderful, and I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome. I recommend you throw all this ingredients into your blender, because you are about to have a healthy boost! This is easy to make, clean up and serve. Enjoy!

Here are the ingredients needed in order to make Simple Summer Smoothie:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup frozen cherries
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 3/4 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey (optional)

Follow these steps, and that smoothie will be done in no time!

  1. Cut up the whole banana into 2-3 pieces
  2. Pour in the frozen strawberries, blueberries and cherries.
  3. Put the ice cubes in
  4. Pour the vanilla yogurt in
  5. Then the orange juice
  6. And lastly, put the teaspoon of honey.
  7. Blend until smooth!
  8. Enjoy!

Some Smoothie Knowledge

jamba juiceToday I will be talking about Jamba Juice. Yes, I know. Some of you are probably thinking “oh no”. I am not trying to promote them, but I think it is an important matter in the smoothie world and I will admit that I too, love Jamba Juice. They have some pretty delicious smoothies, and it was started by ordinary people like you and I.

Jamba Juice started in 1990, 19 years ago. It was started by a man named Kirk Perron. Kirk Perron attended Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, in California. It is now the fast food of smoothies. There are over 700 stores located in the United States and Bahamas. Jamba juice sells only Natural products making it stand out of its kind. Jamba Juice continues to open up stores all over the United States. Jamba Juice is something that I looked into because the history of it seemed important. Why did Jamba Juice become so successful? How is Jamba Juice better than any other smoothie stand? I asked my self those questions. My answers are only my opinion. I think Jamba Juice success was from the idea of the store. Before Jamba juice, there weren’t many chain smoothie stores. Jamba juice offers natural products with boosts of different shots. The way it is presented is very convenient. It became such a hit for its quick service and tasty smoothies. I occasionally will pick up a Jamba Juice if I am close to one and want a smoothie. I still believe in home made smoothies. Everything seems to taste slightly better when it was your labor that went into the making of that smoothie. Knowing all the ingredients and the process of how it was made is nice. I love making my own smoothies just for the thrill and of course, the “out of this world” taste. Jamba Juice has many different smoothies and is made fresh when you order them. That is another thing for why Jamba Juice has become so popular. The headquarters of Jamba Juice, is located in Emeryville, California.

After saying my opinion about Jamba Juice, I would like to hear yours? Is Jamba Juice an inspiration to you? Maybe after hearing about the history of Jamba Juice, you would like to start your own smoothie business. I personally just enjoy any kind of smoothie as long as it is healthy and tastes great. I still love smoothies in general, so I think there is still plenty of room for many new smoothies’ stores on this planet. If you are interested in the business, please, I encourage you to go for it. Chocolate Smoothie

A Chocolate Smoothie

This smoothie is different. It does not consist of any tropical fruit, but it does sound delicious. Well ok, it may not be the healthiest smoothie in the world, but if you’re up to treating yourself, this is it. It does have added sweetener unfortunately but once in a while, this can be an exception. I probably would not have thought of this recipe but when I came across it on this website, I couldn’t help but think how perfect it would be to share it with others. It is more of a desert smoothie, but whenever you are in the mood, I would definitely whip up this chocolate smoothie! The following show what ingredients are necessary for making this delicious smoothie. Make sure you have all of them! Mmmm.

(3 cups)  soymilk (no sugar added) 

(2 tbsp) chocolate syrup (or hazelnut and chocolate spread)

(2 tbsp)  honey or maple syrup 

1 or 2 bananas  

(1 tbsp) limejuice 

2 scoops vanilla ice cream  

(3 tbsp) powdered sugar   

1orange cut into slices 

After you have made sure that you have all of the ingredients, here is the procedure:

 In the blender, place milk, chocolate syrup and honey. Mix well.

Pour sugar on a plate. Dampen the edge of 2 large drinking glasses with the remaining lime dip the edges into the sugar and serve smoothies in sugar-frosted glasses.

Garnish with a slice of orange, insert a straw and enjoy!

Strawberry, Banana and Kiwi smoothie!

Strawberry, banana and Kiwi SmoothieI was thinking of a smoothie that was naturally sweet but also not too sweet. What could be that perfect balance? Sometimes, in the late afternoon, all you need is that small boost that will keep you going. A smoothie is the perfect solution. When smoothies are too sweet though, they do not give you that same feeling. A smooth cooling drink that glides down your throat is more what I am thinking. Then I came across this recipe for a smoothie and it sounds absolutely marvelous. The textures are all soft. It consists of banana, strawberries and kiwi! Kiwi in a smoothie sounds delicious! The banana is always a perfect base. It is something that a smoothie can always benefit off of because of the smooth texture and sweet taste. Then the strawberry offers a different kind of sweet that is a great balance. Strawberries and bananas always compliment each other. The kiwi is a totally different story. It has a sort of soft, almost mushy texture, but the taste is amazing. Kiwis aren’t that candy sweet; they would go perfect with strawberries and bananas. Try making this smoothie and see how is works for you. Here is how to make it:

1and1/2 banana

5 cut up strawberries

2-3 peeled and cut kiwis

1 cup strawberry yogurt

And some apple juice

Blend this all up until smooth and ready to eat. No added sugar necessary! Drink up, and enjoy. This smoothie is a great way to get a healthy snack in and so irresistible.

smoothiesI have decided to make a list of the top five quickest smoothies. I have researched different web sites and found my favorite ones that I think you will enjoy as well. Some of these I have just experienced at home with. With all of this, I took the top five easiest, and put them in this list for you!

With all of those things needed to be done, I am sure that you don’t have time to sit down and indulge in a gourmet meal. I am sure this list will come in use. The summer time is really the prime time to whip out that blender and drink down that lovely cool smoothie. Not only are smoothies so delicious to drink, but they are also healthy (as long as you only put organic ingredients into them) they are usually the perfect solution. So let’s start by listing the top five quickest smoothies for you!

1. A Fresh Start

1 1/4 cups orange juice
1 banana
1 1/4 cups frozen berries, such as raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and/or strawberries
1/2 cup of plain yogurt
1 tablespoon sugar

2. Hawaiian Breeze

 1 cup of chopped fresh pineapple
1/2 cup frozen papaya
1/4 cup guava nectar (can be purchased at your local supermarket)
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/2 cup ice

3. Strawberry Bliss

1 cup fresh strawberries or frozen
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup frozen cranberry juice
1 teaspoon sugar (optional)

4. Summer Blend

1 banana

1cut up mango (fresh)

1 tablespoon of blueberries

1 cup of milk

1 spoon of sugar

5. Mango Lassi Delight

1 cup chopped peeled mango
1/3 cup peach sorbet
1/2 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup orange juice

It is a warm morning here in California. It’s cool but not freezing compared to what the weather has been all winter. It is one of those mornings that scream SMOOTHIE! That is why I am writing today. Because it is a Tuesday, and everyone is so rushed in the morning, I understand that breakfast is hard to make time for. Smoothies are a completely different story. Add a little ingredients into a blender, blend it up and bam, you got yourself a smoothie. The cool feeling running down your throat is so soothing and delicious. Today I think we are up for a tropical blend. I know that you most likely do not live in the tropics, but hey, there is something called frozen fruit! What better way to make your smoothie. It is already fresh, and that way you are able to purchase fruits that probably can’t grow in you back yard. If you live by a Trader Joes, I highly recommend their frozen fruits. They have frozen papaya, mango and berry mixes. These are perfect for a smoothie. Today’s smoothie will consist of these ingredients:
A Handful of frozen mango
A handful of strawberries
A table spoon of blueberries
And a table spoon of raspberries
Poor milk (any kind) so that it is level with the ingredients
Add a spoon of sugar
Blend it up and enjoy!
This smoothie is a mix of tropical fruits and berries. It should wake you up and get you ready for that big day ahead of you!

Strawberry Banana Smoothie!Hello, my name is Leila. I want to share some recipes to make your very own smoothies at home! The weather is getting warmer, and what better way to celebrate and cool down. Smoothie making is the way to go. I like to experiment at home with my own smoothies. I usually don’t use measurements, but I put in whatever is available and what I think tastes good. I hope to update this whenever I discover a new smoothie. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! Today I think I will share with you a very simple yet easy recipe. Before you start, let’s make sure you have the right ingredients!


 1and1/2 of bananas

 Milk (any kind) OR Yogurt

 A handful of strawberry’s

 A spoon of sugar (or honey, or maple syrup)

 Make Sure the milk is at the same level as the fruit in the blender (if you want an extra cold smoothie, add a few ice cubes in there!) Blend it up and enjoy!
